Design Notes
Adapted from a 19th-century Japanese design, Ravioli arranges softly rounded squares and playful dots into an orderly geometric repeat. Repainted in layered washes of colour, its irregular forms shift gently in tone across the cloth. Printed on a tactile cotton, linen and viscose blend, the contrast between the simple grid and expressive hand-painted shapes gives Ravioli a cheerful, playful quality. Graphic enough to hold its own yet easy to combine with stripes, plains and other patterns, it is suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions and upholstery.
