Which paste should I use to hang my wallpaper?
For best results, we recommend using a high quality pre-mixed adhesive such as Halls Beeline Yellow Lid or Solvite Paste the Wall - Medium to Heavy grade.

How many rolls of wallpaper do I need?
Please use our estimator to calculate how many rolls you will require or ask your decorator – it can be tricky when there are lots of doors and windows involved.

What length are your wallpaper rolls?
Our wallpapers are sold in 10m rolls.

Are Linwood's wallpapers paste the wall or paper?
For best results we suggest pasting the wall.

Do Linwood wallpapers shrink back?
Our wallpapers have a dimensionally stable base, so won't shrink.

Hanging instructions
It is recommended that you use a qualified and experienced decorator to hang our wallpapers. Please ensure that the hanging instructions are carefully read prior to starting work. Walls must be dry, clean, and as smooth as possible. We would recommend preparing all walls with a quality lining paper hung horizontally. To prevent the white of the lining paper showing through on the joins, paint the lining paper a similar shade to the wallpaper. As an extra measure, you can also colour the end of each roll with a pastel crayon in a similar colour to the chosen wallpaper.

The same paste should be used for the lining paper as for the wallpaper. We recommend using a pre-mixed paste suitable for heavy wallpapers.

Paste the wall first and apply the paper dry off the roll. Do not use a roller to smooth the paper on the wall as this may leave pressure marks and lines. Try to avoid getting adhesive on the printed surface, as dried paste will damage the surface of printed wallpaper. If it is unavoidable, gently wipe off with a clean damp sponge while it is moist, making sure to rinse the sponge throughout the cleaning process using clean water only and no soap or cleaning liquids of any kind.
